How to Replace the Rubber
High Flyer
Measure the new rubber against your tool and cut it to the correct length.
Look at the end clips on the High Flyer. One is marked X and the other –.
Pull the old rubber out from the side marked X.
Slide the new rubber in through the same side until it is centred.
All Other Wagtail Tools
Measure the new rubber against your tool and cut it to the correct length.
These channels use a centre dimple to hold the rubber in place rather than end clips.
Remove the old rubber and slide the new one in from either side of the channel.
Centre the rubber so there is an even amount on both ends.
Helpful Tip:
Mix a drop of dishwashing liquid with water and lightly wet one side of the rubber before inserting it into the channel. This helps it slide in smoothly and makes installation easier.
